Boxing Hares (Duel Between Lfe and Death) - High Quality Signed Art Print

Celebrate the coming of Spring with a signed, high quality art print of my Boxing hares watercolour painting - an enduring yet mysterious sign that Winter is over. In keeping with their association with mythology and folklore, I created this original watercolour painting featuring a live hare (to represent life/Spring) in combat with a skeletal hare (to symbolise death/Winter). This relates to the ancient tradition of the Green Man banishing Winter during May Day/Beltane.

The landscape on the left is lush and verdant, while the right-hand side features skeletal trees and snow. The sunrise is intended to unite the two seasons as one transitions into the other.
